Upcoming Renovations!

We’re very excited to share with you that we’re undertaking a “Refresh” on our original Ballpark location in Denver. We will be closing for 7 Days in February to tackle this renovation, during which time we will be adding seating, reupholstering our booths, painting, refinishing the flooring, rebuilding our host stand and more!

Don’t worry, we WON’T change our gun-metal steel covered Acunto Ovens from Naples, the VPN-certified (Verace Pizza Napoletana) Pizzas they pump out in 60 seconds, OR the Southern Italian menu loaded with our East-Coast attitude.

During our renovation days our entire staff will be paid. We will be out in the community marketing our great restaurant, available to take catering orders, and our Inverness location will be open normal business hours.

Thank you so much for your support and understanding! Taking days like this to do a renovation is scary for a business, but we have always prioritized the care and condition of our property, and we know you’ll love the look when it’s complete!

A little about our Ballpark Location’s history:

Our brick building on Larimer Street was originally built in 1898 and the Restaurant space was designed from the floor up in 2007 by the incomparable Melissa Friday of Xan Creative, Denver’s most dynamic and surprising restaurant design firm.

Melissa worked to bring owners, Mark and Kristy Dym’s vision to life – a warm and welcoming space that kept our Acunto Ovens as a focal point, and maintained the character and history of our original brick building and white oak wood floors. When we opened in 2008 our space won the Denver Mayor’s Design Award, and has served us beautifully every day since.

Over the last dozen years Melissa & her family have become part of our family. We are working with her again to rejuvenate our space but maintain our distinctive Marco’s Coal-Fired identity.
