New York Pizza Festival Recap!
We had a fantastic time in NYC this weekend, representing Marco's Coal-Fired along side an exclusive (invite only) list of Pizzerias from around the world. The NY Pizza Festival took over 3 blocks in "Little Italy of the Bronx" on Crescent Avenue, people from all over NYC flocked in to taste over 25 different styles of pizza, including Traditional Neapolitan, Sicilian, NY Style, "Grandma" Style and even St. Louis.
What did we make? The flavor bomb, and absolute stunner: The ‘Sunday Sauce’ Pizza. – It's loaded with 5hr Braised Beef, Tomato Ragu, Hot Cherry Peppers & Pepperoncini, along with Fresh Mozzarella, Caciocavallo, and Pecorino cheeses!
What is the NYC Pizza Festival?
The NYC Pizza festival was created in the spirit of Naples Italy's Pizza Village, which features the top Pizzaioli from around the country, attracting over 500,000 people annually from all over the world!
